Chiropractic Care At Living Well

Have you ever wondered: What does a chiropractor do? Our team uses gentle techniques to adjust the spine and other areas of the body. We listen to your concerns and alleviate your worry about their neck being ‘cracked.’ Our chiropractors will follow YOUR lead while giving you all the information you need to make an informed decision. Our promise to our patients is they will never feel pressured to do anything they cannot or do not want to do.

During your first visit, the doctors will perform an initial exam and a chiropractic adjustment of the affected area. Their techniques include performing a soft tissue massage and trigger point therapy prior to the chiropractic manipulation. This practice relaxes the muscles around the joints and allows for a gentle, effective adjustment.

Your First Chiropractic Visit

Because of the thorough exam and time spent reviewing your medical history, the first visit is usually 45 to 60 minutes. Regular follow-up visits are usually 15 to 30 minutes depending on your treatment plan.

When a patient reports they’re experiencing pain or limited mobility, the doctor will check the spine and other joints for abnormal joint restrictions. These restrictions can cause pain and dysfunction as well as muscle spasm. The adjustment is a quick movement designed to restore normal mobility, realigning the spine thus increasing function and decreasing pain.

Every patient is different and every treatment is different. At Living Well Center for Integrative Health, we tailor the treatment to you and what your body needs. We offer equally effective “non-popping” and “non-twisting” adjustments as well as more traditional chiropractic treatments.

Our Integrative approach to health care is a safe and effective way to treat the entire family. We offer moms-to-be, infants, children, and teens gentle, effective, and personalized Chiropractic, Aquatic Therapy, and Physical Therapy on a case-by-case basis.
